We don’t wear makeup to look pretty. We wear it because we enjoy the process of putting it on.
The ‘natural look’ makes us cringe & bright colors are more fun.
We don’t do it for the boys. We do it for ourselves.
Eyeshadow is our drug. Sephora, Ulta, & MAC are our dealers.
Makeup isn’t just materials but your passion…

JULIEMISSJUICY’S CURRENT FAVORTIE

M·A·C Cosmetics

Prep + Prime Highlighter Radiant Rose $25  Highlighter pen is one of the most amazing makeup innovations of the past few decades. It contains light-reflecting particles, which bring forward recessed areas if the face and hide minor flaws. This is not a concealer- it is a highlighter (I stress this because many women are confused about the pen’s use). It works by highlighting (bringing out) recessed areas, such as the dark shadows created by bags, wrinkles, deep creases, and the inside corners of your eyes, and making then look even with the rest of the face. Be sure to choose one that looks fresh and natural.

MAC Pro Medium Palette (NC30, NW25, NC35, NW35, Mid-yellow, Mid-peach) $40 perfect for concealing flaws great coverage and versatility. Packed with four different shades of Studio Finish Concealers with two Studio Finish Correctors, the Conceal and Correct Palette comes in a sleek, clear case the same size as MAC Eyeshadow Quads. There are four sets of colors available – Light, Medium, Medium Deep and Dark.

Studio Fix NC30 Powder Compact $27 is a dual-finish powder that provides quick, convenient, sheer-to-medium coverage and is packages in a nice neat compare. It is formulated for normal to oily skin; on dry skin, it looks chalky. It goes on like a pressed powder but contains emollients and pigments that provide more coverage than a pressed powder. It’s perfect for young women, because it is low in oils and moisturizers and doesn’t clog pores, which helps cut the risk is breakouts. It provides all the coverage that most young women need and is easy for them to apply. The tool you use to apply the powder determines the amount of coverage. Applied with a sponge, it gives you more complete coverage.

Tip #1: when buying powder, a good test is to touch it; it should feel soft and silky (like velvet), not gritty. Apply a little of it to the back of your hand (there is more texture to the skin there, so you will see if it catches in the lines). It should look sheer and natural. If if is too heavy (not milled finely enough), it can look dry and chalky.

  • Beauty Blender with Solid Cleaner I’ve been such a fan of this product for the longest time. Makeup Artist Monica Ninh was the first to showed me this beauty gem and since then and it changed my life! I received the Solid Sponge Cleanser as a gift and it works great to clean your makeup brushes too.
    • Washable, re-useable, recyclable. Can be used with all types of makeup. Use damp or dry. We prefer damp. Very versatile applicator.
    • If you have problem skin Beautyblender works to cover blemishes.

When I was at Creative Team Meeting each of us was asked to write down our strength and weakness. My strength is my flexibility to handle change. My greatness weakness is l get easily intimidated, especially if l am around people who are more educated than me, that l lose focus and make silly mistakes and even forget things l am good at. ln times like this, l usually try and learn, concentrate more and advance my self in what l know best so that l am the best in my department.

It is your sole responsibility to inspire, encourage and drive those around you to succeed. What inspires you?

  1. I’ve dual doctorates, dedicated my life to ever seeing healthcare nationally by keeping doctors and facilities Ihonest and in compliance with law, while improving care. So, don’t ever think anyone who’s more educated then u, intimidate u and get under your skin. I’ve met so many doctors that are dumb as a box of rocks. Some who had others use fake I.D.’s to take exams for them, amd others who shouldn’t be practicing. The top reason for deaths in the U.S. Is medical errors, but you don’t see that on CDC or any national sites. Daily patients die for it, and doctors who even know they’ll get into trouble will cover up for doctors they domt even know, and live in other states. There are people like me who’s conducting studies, writing peer reviewed articles on it, and it expanding my prior published research into my On my way! first textbook. I already wrote the first draft of a textbook and chapters in my prof’s textbook that’s a nationally mandatory read for almost all majors. I’m a nerd I admit, but majority of my lifelong bff’s have only an associates, r high school drop outs, and they’re brilliant all in their own ways.mall r independent and don’t rely in men for $ or anything. Unless asked or appropriate I don’t discuss my education out of respect and empathy, so it won’t make anyone feel insecure. Anyone who feels the need to discuss their degrees just out of the blue are trying to prove something, and r the ones who r totally insecure and callow. Despite my degrees and experience, I’m now on the other end, and for years fighting for my life due to spinal cord and brainstem injuries from being assaulted in hospital by doctors the week of r wedding.o They found out my background, and have been trying to keep me from care ever since, since they know I know every healthcare law. I’ve to file suit, amd I admit I’m scared to death to, since they’re a 1/4 mile from my house. I have to do this to give a voice to others who can’t speak for themselves, but I’d u ever need help with writing your book I’m more than willing to help u. I’ve tons of experience with it for free. If u or any love ones need care, and issues with insurance paying for care, or anything u need day or night feel free to contact me. I pray u don’t need my help due to illness, but if so I’ll give u my cell#. Im tetrapligic and have paralysis. I’m the only known case with my condition.. I’ve not even told u the 1/2 of it, amd the book, tv series amd movies offerss for my story, on top of my own textbook. I’m a huge beauty/makeup, skincare and fashion junkie. I did makeup for my spas, weddings, proms freelance after wjhen I was Iin college I worked’ at Macy’s in cosmetics as one of my many jobs. I did it all to make women feel beautiful, and started a program for patients in cancer unites, since their skin changes and more from this disease and treatments, but it’s all done to remind them that they’re beautiful women despite they’re health. Again, I speak from personal and professional experience, and know what it’s like to have your health and life hijacked, and it taking your looks, privacy and dignity taken away, and even inpatient I wake hours early to do my makeup for mine and other patients morals to see some color vs sterile scrubs into r lives. Sorry for all thet it broke my heart to hear u say people with typos, writing so much, but it’s crucial u know you’re there’s no need to feel uncomfortable, and your site shows your brilliant. We are having a small wedding of 50-60, within a year and I’m determined to walk down that aisle. The venues amazing, and is a JP Morgan estate, and we don’t want anyone to know what decade they’re in let alone what century .their in. The venue gave r deposit back, and r inspired by r story, and want us to marry their. My dress, that’s a whole other story. I paid $1000s on my dress, and owed $50s only, but they kept my money, sold my dress to another bride despite r contract, and they’d not let me or bridal party speak to the owner, and had the nerve after to call me months later saying they’ve my dress again, but I’d have to pay for it all over again?! My dream dress with layers, corseted it was, but I’ve found another dress by Lazaro that’s $5-6000s from it’s 2012 collection LZ 3059 I think? Normally it’d not be an issue, but with all my medical bills, diagnostics, paying for another dress already, having to save$ for ivf, it feels too indulgent, and r decoys all manzita trees, with crystals, votives and lights with different height candles as center pieces vs flowers, and lit by two huge fireplaces only. I’m rambling now from exhaustion, and can’t type anymore. The best advice I can give u is to keep doing what your doing, but stop to cell the roses. My fiancé and I’ve been together for fifteen years, we never taken a vaca, worked 70-90hr+ weeks not counting my doctorates! and said we’d in r 30′s marry , have four kids, r honeymoon to France to be r honeymoon after we worked enough to build a huge colonial in Saratoga springs, ny and set a foundation prior to marrying and having kids too. Then I found out I w as dying right when we saved enough, and accomplished years of working so hard. I graduated high school at fifteen, worked three jobs while going to school full time paying my way, and having my apt, bills…had a yada, never went to prom, never celebrate my bday since 13, no vaca or break even, celebrate my graduations because I was too hard on myself, and I still am. So, I look at r wedding as all these life celebrations and milestones I can make up for with r wedding, and r wedding will look like it’s 6figures when it’s going to be bout $10,000 only. The venues been amazing, and their giving us such a great price for everything, amd they did it despite not knowing the publicity they’ll get for it shows there’s still giving altruistic people out there& it’ll be about $5000 for wedding, but the rest will be spent on photography, dress, decor, and we r doing a honeymoon registry, but it’ll have to go towards ivf, and us put off the honeymoon. So, smell those roses, celebrate everything, never feel inferior or irrated even, since you’re giving them power over you and controlling your feelings. They’re not worth it, and don’t let others define you or how you view yourself, and what you’ve been through define you too. What I’ve been through doesn’t define me it’s just a part of life’s journey. Again, sorry for the typos, and run on sentences, but I’m not writing professionally write now. I’m just writing as one women to another. I hope this helps, and despite my health I’m just an email away, amd will help you however I can. We both beauty, makeup, beauty in various forms and all it’s diversities, wanting to share knowledge and empowering women! Take care, and I love your site. I’m a business, marketing, writing, communications, healthcare, research, makeup, fashion amd can replicate any makeup look, and more expert. I’ve never written anyone this before, but my one arm won’t work and other arms in agony for typing so I do have to go, and sleep. I love MAC pigments, brushes, my favorite gloss is discontinued by them though”sable”lipglass, amd obsessed with skincare too. At least what I’ve been through can help others to celebrate life more, to smell the roses, and remind u how amazing u r, truth bout med errors, and not to trust anyone just because they’ve an acronym after their name. I”ll write u soon, and share mt favorite makeups, skincare, and sorry for such a long email, but again it broke my heart to hear how u feel around”educated” people when many r morons and transparent. Only let your great energy attract the great people, and for u to weed out the bad ones, and idk if this is a private message u get, but I’m sending it anyway. I spent

  2. I’ve been surfing on-line more than 3 hours nowadays, yet I by no means found any interesting article like yours.
It is beautiful value sufficient for me. In my opinion, if
all webmasters and bloggers made just right content material as you probably did, the net can be a lot more useful than ever before.

  3. Knocked my socks off with kngweldoe!
